The CHARLEE (Children Have All Rights: Legal, Educational, and Emotional) Program, a privatized foster care organization based in Florida, created BCOEC to serve CHARLEE foster children during summer and winter programs. In 2008 CHARLEE Camp teamed up with Educate Tomorrow, in order to offer camp opportunities to foster children throughout Miami-Dade county.

  • Children travel from Flordia to North Carolina for a 1-2 week session.
  • While at camp the general program principles apply (RESPECT, Community, Experiential Learning and Confidence)
  • CHARLEE Camp is staffed with skilled therapeutic counselors and outdoor educators who bring a variety of skills and years of experience working in the wilderness
